How to Maintain the Pump

Change water frequently to keep water cleaning to avoid any dirt to impede the pump.Be careful to protect the water pump to avoid damage, keep surface cleaning constantly. Remove the fountain head and extension tube. Turn over the filter box assembly. Open the filter housing by pushing on the sides of the housing. As you press on the sides of the filter housing, the top and bottom will unlock.Pull off the cover and remove the filter pad. Rinse the filter pad to remove debris.Disassemble the pump and clean the internals of the pump.Reassemble the pump and filter kit.

Is there a bright light control switch on the pump?

There is no control switch. The light will be on when plugged in.

What should be noticed when the pump is operating?

Operate in freshwater only. Avoid heavily chlorinated water and water with high pH levels.

Do not let the pump run dry. Pump must be completely submerged for proper operation and cooling.

Make sure there is enough water in the pond, especially sunny days; always keep the pump under the water surface.
